Buy my stuff!

I'm having a garage sale on Saturday, May 27 at 9am. In addition to the items shown here, I will also be selling a variety of miscellaneous items, including books, kitchen utensils, cool clothes, some other furniture, electronics, and more! Come to the sale and buy my stuff!

Twin Futon Frame and Mattress - $130

This ain't your stoner friend's futon.

The model #611 8" Gold Bond Twin Futon mattress is a luxurious mattress with a double foam core, suitable for sitting, sleeping and spooning. Take it from me; I slept on this mattress every night for the past year and my back has never felt so well-aligned.

The frame is a simple wooden tri-fold lounger. Simple yet delicious.

The mattress retails for $199, and the frame for $75. At $130, this deluxe twin futon is a real bargain!

Duvet, cover, sheets and matching pillows! - $100

You'll think you died and went to Linen's & Things.

The down duvet comforter is light-weight, perfect for Austin (not too hot in the summer; you might need an extra blankie in the winter).

The duvet cover and pillows are clean and cozy. The sheets (not shown) are lime green and tie the whole bedding package together.

Buy em' all together for $100. Or I'll sell them separately...

Duvet - $50 (~$150 retail)
Duvet cover - $20 (~$50 retail)
Pillows - $15 for all 3 (~$35 retail)
Sheets - $5 (~$20 retail)

Medium-sized Bean Bag Chair $10

This lime green bean bag chair matches the duvet cover superbly. It's not one of those lame useless bean bag chairs that basically crumple and lose all structural integrity once you sit in it. I frequently lounge in this bean bag chair, wiling away the hours with a good book or an episode (or 5) of Six Feet Under. My comfort never ceases!

Sorry, neither the pound puppy nor the rad space-themed pillow case are for sale.

Craftsman Lawn Mower - $100

Originally purchased for >$200, this is the Craftsman 21" 6.5 hp push mower and mulcher with rear bag, model 38851. It's about 3 years old and was only used for about a year. I haven't turned it on in about a year so it'll probably need a bit of priming to get started the first time.

The only problem with this mower is that the plastic handle you pull to start it broke (the cord is currently tied to sturdy stick, which seems to do the job). This should be an easy, cheap fix, for those who find the stick handle too rustic.

GE Select Washer/Dryer - $150

The washer and dryer have been sitting in the garage for about a year because our current place already had a washer/dryer. Prior to that, they were used for about 2 years and worked just fine! I don't really know more than that - come to the sale and see for yourself!

McCulloch Leaf Blower - $60

The McCulloch Backpack Leaf Blower — 32 CC, 180 MPH, 425 CFM, Model# MB3202 - sells new for $129. I'll part with this one for $60. It was used only a couple of times, with amazing results. I haven't turned it on in about a year so it'll probably need a bit of priming to get started the first time.

Specs from the interweb:
Clean up leaves quickly and easily with McCullouch Blowers. Or use them year-round for all-purpose cleanup of dust, debris and dirt on decks, sidewalks, etc. The balanced & lightweight design of these blowers allows for easy use and handling.

Engine: 32cc 2-Cycle
Air Velocity MPH: 180
Air Volume CFM: 425
Additional Features: Anti-Vibration, 24-oz. Fuel Capacity
Weight: 22 lbs.
Model MB3202

Framed Grand Canyon Print - $20

I'm really sad to part with this - it's a lovely print in a nice frame. I've never even been to the Grand Canyon, but I can gaze at this and dream.

Vintage Bedside Tables - $30/pair

Retro chic bedside tables. Need I say more?

Yes, I do - I've got two (2) of these lovelies for sale.

(Pound puppy not included.)

Electronics

HP scanjet 3570c flatbed scanner - $20
Logitech Z-540 4.1 surround sound computer speakers - $40
~50 unused CD-Rs - $5

Char Broil Gas Grill - $50

What can I say? It works, and it comes with two mostly-full propane tanks.

Various kitchen stuff - prices vary

Mugs, plates, and more stuff that you need, like this extremely useful egg-separator. Essential for your adventures with creme brulee (blow torch not included).
