how not to kill cilantro?

I’ve never had much success with growing cilantro. It always just withers and dies a sad slow death. Any suggestions? At the moment, I’ve got a window sill to work with, minimal sun, and lots of love to give.

Monica, I asked my friend who does so much organic gardening what he thought. He said he grows it all the time, but OUTSIDE, an option I know you don’t have. He said try “fish emulsion” or sand mixed into the soil because of the kind of root system cilantro has. And he added herbs like soil that’s on the dry side. He also said some herbs like a breeze, air circulating. Hope you figure it out! Good luck! Love, Mom

Have use tried using Grow lights? That might not be the technical name for them, but my mom always used them with plants that should be outdoors or plants that need more light. They look like florescent lights but have a different spectrum.

i don’t know about grow lights, but we do have a sad lamp. Maybe I should shine that on those sad little leaves and see if they perk up.
