Eking out an entry…

I’ve been meaning to write more.

Lots more.

But I let my creatively burnt-out self get the better of me.

Really, I should just write, creatively or otherwise.

Establish a flow. A habit. A routine.

I also feel that this blog is in need of a face lift. It’s design just isn’t me anymore. Adding text to this page feels a bit like wearing a business suit.

Forced.

Unrelaxed.

Dark, stark, and dull.

If only I had pinstripes!

Maybe you’re wondering why I’m so creatively burnt-out. Just in case you are, here’s the scoop: I’ve been working my ass off lately. No rediculous over-time hours for me. Just solid, non-stop, brain-usage from 8:30am (+/- 45 minutes) until 5:15pm (+/- 30 minutes). I’ve been doing a little math and a lot of original writing. Some of it is tedious, but as I claim in my CV, I am “energized by problem-solving, creative solutions, and deadlines”.

I wasn’t kidding around.

Work is good but hard: and so conclude’s today’s short story.

Speaking of CVs, no word yet from the Britons. Well, no encouraging words, anyway. I’m still not entirely sure how I’m getting to London, but get there I shall.

I’m off to Houston tomorrow for some quality chixx0r time, and hopefully another tattoo. More to come. I mean it, this time.
