i’m 26 today! er, yesterday by now. but what a day, what a week, what a year. and each one surprises me - pleasantly? unpleasantly?

i’ve got some great friends here who let me indulge my inner foody - cookery, wine, song, and talk. these are a few of my favorite things. and what better way to celebrate an anniversary?
this year is strange because i’m not at home this time - austin’s more foreign to me than ever. so - cages or wings, which do i prefer? ask the birds. my birthday present to myself is a new bike and a personal trainer. this time next year, i’ll be sailing across europe somewhere.
again - more to come soon. i’m still catching up. i will say this: pineapple salsa is the bomb.
