blog soup

i have a dilemma. ok, i’ve had this dilemma for weeks, months, you get the picture. i’ve even discussed before, but have yet to do anything about it.

i have multiple blog spaces, photo albums, calendars, contacts, links, the list goes on and on. so much sh*t!

everything is all over the place, and i sometimes have trouble deciding where i should post, say, my oatmeal recipe. “it’s healthy, i could post it on training for the apocalypse, but maybe other people care about oats? fuck it, i’m ordering a pizza.”

so in an effort to not put things aside for the sake of indecision, i’m going to try the category approach and just post everything here and not worry about how my friends perceive my food obsession or running habits.

taking all of this at face value, that this is a mere (inconsistent, blundering) ant in the world of weblogs and i can count my (known) regular readers on one hand, the obvious questions is: “why bother?”

pfft. isn’t self indulgence reason enough?

so about running. this is where i post the daily dizzle on my run. it was my first run since last sunday’s 5k. i ran after work, around town lake. it sucked. my legs were tired (still) and the wind seemed intent on blowing at me the whole time. i actually stopped before i intended, and walked the last mile. how can it take more than 2 days to recover from 26 minutes and 40 seconds of running? i feel like a wimp. and THEN my arms and legs started itching like crazy! before my run, i did situps and pushups in the grass. “what a lovely day to roll around in the grass!” i had thought. i was wrong. my legs felt like they were on fire. i thought i had a weird case of instantaneous sunburn.

tomorrow is a new day!
