Just had a look at adbusters today, and it sounds like the Blackspot Sneaker may actually happen…
A great sneaker factory has been located. It’s in the traditional shoe manufacturing region in Portugal. A big, light, airy, family-run factory will be the centre of it all. Union. Fair wages, generous paid holidays, free medical attention, an hour and a half for lunch, impressive safety record - it’s an excellent production facility for our worker-friendly, earth-friendly, animal-friendly blackspot sneaker. Details and factory photos will be posted soon. September looks good for delivery. Time for some action.
They also say that “254 indy stores around the world” have signed up to sell the shoe. I hope one of those stores is in London!
