It always gets me how people are so shocked that its a dry county. :) I read a journal entry once where a girl transferred out of TTU just because it was a dry county. Anyhow, your entry made me laugh. Lubbock is a horrible place if you actually want to do something. You're right about eating. Most things to do here are eat, see movies, go shopping and then go to the gym because you feel guilty about being overweight. There are some clubs, but I didn't care for them (and they're all downtown in the depot district). I'm sorry you got a cold, but if you ever come here again and need to go shopping, catch the Citibus (number 3) from TTU, it goes straight to South Plains Mall. You can get a day pass for 2.00. Hi. I am from Orange County, Ca and have lived in Lubbock for about a year now (I'm in Lubbock because I play football for TTU). I hate this place with such a passion that few people could understand...except perhaps you and my family.
