for the past several weeks, i’ve been wondering how i could be so careless with my water bottles. it seems as though i can’t keep one for a day before it disappears into the void (the same void where all of my bic pens and binder clips went off to). so yesterday i bought an Aquafina with the intention of making this new purchase a permanent fixture on my desk in ACES … no matter the cost! sure enough, today, i get to school and my water bottle is gone along with the styrofoam cup i got my coffee in earlier that i had decided to use as transport for the water i’d need in various other locations around campus. my first instict was to believe that the cleaning crew had gone above and beyond their call of duty. but then I looked at the guy’s desk behind me and he’s got 10 coke cans that have been sitting there for days.
could it be there’s a traitor among us?
